After School Arts Class; 7 weeks; Starts February 29
Wednesdays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Ages: 7 – 12 years
Cost: $115/$100 for MMAS members
For students interested in the visual arts, this class will get their hands dirty while helping them harness their creative power and find inspiration everywhere. This class will explore different mediums from painting to mask making to crafts, and even learning about the art hanging in the Morini Gallery. Students will go home each with a finished piece.
Instructor Jacqueline Ferrante is an Art and Theater Production major in her 4th year at Northeastern University. She has always been interested in the arts as well as theater production. Previously, she instructed children ages 4-12 in many aspects of theater including improv, arts and crafts, and performance at Broadhollow Theater Company in New York. She also has experience in scenic design, props, painting and drawing.
