FOR CHILDREN:
April Vacation Week: Theater Arts & Crafts Class
April 16-20, 9 a.m. to 12 noon
Cost: $150/$135 for MMAS members
Whether your child is already a show stopper or just poking his or her toes into the fun of being on stage, this class has something for everyone. During this week-long class students will learn about acting through games and exercises; teaching them how to focus, stay on task and memorize quickly; all while helping each child build his or her self confidence to perform in front of a live audience. There will also be a daily art project that we will use to tell stories and help each child develop memorable characters for the stage. We emphasize the skills your child learns are life-long skills useful for both on and off the stage. The week will end with a “show,” as participants perform on stage for family and friends using their newly gained skills and their own unique talent.
Class size limit: 10 Students Ages: 8 – 12 years
