Advanced Musical Theater for Children (ages 10 to 13)
Two week educational program to help children develop skills essential for musical theater. Workshops will include auditions skills, make up for the stage, singing and dancing, theater games, mask work, character development, dialects, and work on monologues. This class finishes with a show for friends and family.
Monday through Friday from July 7 to 18 from 11 AM to 2 PM. Total of 30 hours of theater education. This class is limited to just 10 students

Advanced Musical Theater for teens (ages 13 to 16)
Two week educational program exploring the world of musical theater. Students will develop acting and auditions skills while learning all aspects of musical theater including: stage make-up, character development, dialects, voice and choreography. Teen students will also learn how prepare monologues for future auditions. This class finishes with a show for friends and family.
The class is limited to just 10 students.
Monday through Friday from July 21 to August 1 from 11 AM to 2 PM. Total of 30 hours of theater education.

Summer Theater Play Production at the Black Box Theater
This four week program teaches children and teens all aspects of producing a show for the public. Students will enjoy theater games and character development while actually working on a one act play that will be presented at the Black Box Theater. Students will learn about press releases, set designing, and will focus on all the other ins and outs of putting on a show for the general public. The class finishes with three public performances in the Black Box Theater on the first weekend of August. Tickets will be sold for this show and parents will receive two free tickets for each show (six tickets total) Students interested in technical theater, lighting design, and sound operations are welcome.
This class is limited to just 15 students. Meets Monday to Friday 2PM to 4 PM.
Class runs from July 7 to Aug. 3. Show dates are part of our learning experience!

Summer Acting Classes for young actors (Ages 9 to 13)
MMAS is offering 2 (two weeks sessions for this age group) Class meets Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 11 AM. Young actors will explore the world of the stage through fun theater games, while developing a full one act play with musical numbers which will be performed on the last day of Class.
(Session 1) July 7 to 18th M-F 9 am to 11 am

Summer theater games and crafts for children (ages 6 to 8)
4 one week sessions. Children will explore theater games and make puppets to tell stories. Program finishes with a show for friends and family. 9 AM to 10 AM Monday - Friday
